This Privacy Policy describes how Doormingo ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our Service at doormingo.com and account.doormingo.com.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Doormingo:

• Account information: Email address and name provided during registration
• Squarespace website data: Website ID, site name, and URL of connected Squarespace sites
• OAuth tokens: Temporary access credentials used to connect to your Squarespace site
• Property listing configuration: Collection IDs and display settings for your property listings
• Usage data: Information about how you use the Service, including log data and error reports

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the Doormingo service
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Connect to and configure your Squarespace website
• Send you important service notifications and updates
• Respond to your support requests
• Improve and develop the Service

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Squarespace Integration

When you connect a Squarespace website, we use OAuth 2.0 to obtain authorisation. This allows us to read your site structure and modify specific parts of your site (code injection, blog collections) to install and run the Doormingo plugin.

We only access the minimum data required to provide the Service. We do not access or store your Squarespace billing information, customer data, or ecommerce transactions.

4. Data Storage

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, a managed database service. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest.

We store the following data in our database:

• Your account email and profile information
• Connected Squarespace website details (ID, name, URL)
• Property listing collection IDs and plugin configuration
• Installation and subscription status

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session on account.doormingo.com. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Doormingo:

• Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com)
• Vercel — hosting for the account dashboard (vercel.com)
• AWS CloudFront — content delivery network for the browser extension
• Squarespace — website platform integration (squarespace.com)

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing their use of your data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

When you disconnect a Squarespace site, we retain the site record for 30 days before permanent deletion.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for data processing

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This includes TLS encryption for all data in transit and encrypted storage for sensitive data.

Doormingo is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
